Brennen Guillory, Tenor
Canio
Tenor Brennen Guillory is renowned for his powerful, dramatic voice, radiating both “immense power and tender intimacy.” After moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2006 to serve as a pastor, he shifted his primary focus to the concert stage.
Internationally, Guillory received critical acclaim for his UK recording of Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde with the Orchestra of the Swan. He frequently collaborates with the English Symphony Orchestra, notably starring as Siegmund in Die Walküre.
In the U.S., his performances span both coasts and include masterworks like Verdi’s Requiem and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. He is a frequent guest at the Colorado Mahler Festival and has performed major operatic leads—including Otello, Fidelio, and Carmen—across the Northwest, where he also shares his expertise by leading vocal workshops and masterclasses.
Megan Belov, Soprano

Megan Joy Belov has recently appeared as the soprano soloist in Mozart's Requiem and Bach Magnificat with Eugene Concert Choir, as well as in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Her operatic credits include Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Lady Billows in Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring, Countess Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro, Arminda in La finta giardiniera, and The Director in Les Mamelles de Tirésias by Francis Poulenc. Oregon ArtsWatch praised her performance as La Fée in Pauline Viardot’s Cendrillon: “Megan sings the part convincingly. Her solid acting and singing help to hold the show together.” Additionally, she was featured in composer Justin Ralls’ musical score entry for the short animated film Bacchus at the 2020 Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards. Megan holds a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Portland State University.
Anton Belov, Baritone

Baritone Anton Belov has been praised for his “rich and mellifluous” voice by The New York Times, while the Philadelphia Inquirer hailed him as “an emerging star.” He has earned acclaim for performances as Don Giovanni, Germont (La Traviata), Eugene Onegin, Escamillo (Carmen), Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Count di Luna (Il trovatore), and Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor). Belov has appeared with leading companies and orchestras across the United States, including Boston Lyric Opera, Portland Opera, Boston Baroque, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, the Oregon Symphony, and the Colorado Symphony. A first-place winner of eight major vocal competitions—including the George London Competition, the Licia Albanese–Puccini Foundation Competition, and the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions—he also won the Young Concert Artists International Auditions, leading to more than forty recital appearances nationwide. He holds degrees from Boston University, The Juilliard School, and New England Conservatory, and is Professor of Music at Linfield University.
Harry Baechtel, Baritone

Northern California native Dr. Harry Baechtel is an associate professor of voice at Portland State University with a diverse career across opera, oratorio, and art song. Praised by the Eugene Weekly as a "mellifluous" baritone, he has performed with acclaimed companies like Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Baroque, and the Oregon Bach Festival.
An advocate for contemporary works, Baechtel originated the role of Adam in Ethan Gans-Morse’s The Canticle of the Black Madonna. His extensive standard repertoire spans major operatic roles like Papageno (Die Zauberflöte) and soloist engagements in masterpieces from Bach to Vaughan Williams.
An active recitalist, he has recorded late 19th-century works by Fauré and unpublished Lieder by Fanny Hensel using period instruments. His artistic curiosity even led him to Beijing to perform Peking Opera. Baechtel holds degrees from Northwestern University, Boston University’s Opera Institute, and a doctorate from the University of Oregon.
Anthony Nguyen, Tenor

Vietnamese-American tenor Anthony Nguyen, a native of Portland, Oregon, is an emerging artist recognized for his vibrant stage presence and expressive lyricism. He studied vocal performance at Portland State University before earning his graduate degree from the Manhattan School of Music. An active performer throughout the Pacific Northwest, he has appeared in more than 30 performances as a tenor soloist with Portland Opera’s Lunch and Learn and Opera a la Carte series, and has also performed with Lark Opera, One World Productions, and The Concerts at the Barn. Recently, he was the tenor soloist in Christopher Tin’s Waloyo Yamoni with the Metropolitan Youth Symphony and Pacific Youth Choir. A champion of new music, Nguyen created the role of Charles Floyd in the folk opera York the Explorer. His operatic repertoire includes Ferrando (Così fan tutte), Count Almaviva (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Don Curzio (Le nozze di Figaro), and Monostatos (Die Zauberflöte).
Stanislav Serebriannikov

Pianist and singer Stanislav Serebriannikov holds two degrees from Moscow Conservatory in voice and piano performance. He worked as a staff accompanist at the famed chamber orchestra The Seasons, the Prokofiev Theatre Studio, and Mariinsky Theatre. From 2007 to today, Stanislav has participated in a huge number of concerts as a solo pianist, singer, and accompanist. In all, Stanislav performed more than 3000 concerts in 300 cities in 17 countries. He currently lives in Philadelphia. His American credits include appearances at Carnegie Hall and other prestigious venues. In 2023 He served as a collaborative pianist at Aquilon Music Festival and the following year recorded Do You Hear, My Brother--an album of Ukrainian art songs produced in collaboration with baritone Anton Belov.
